The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) was established in 1973 under the Professional Accountants Ordinance (Chapter 50 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and is the only statutory professional accountant registration institution in Hong Kong. The mission of the Association is to serve the accounting industry and the public through an effective and transparent self-management system and to effectively promote the development of the industry.
