Since 1974, IIA has held internal auditor qualification examinations in designated locations around the world, issued auditor certificates to successful candidates, and awarded the title of “Internal Auditor Qualification”. In 1998, China signed the IIA Internal Audit Association Agreement and organized the IIA International Certified Internal Auditor Examination to China, which was a success.
